Occasionally, Campo will also host trainings, presentations, conferences and workgroup meetings, for Southern California Tribes, the local community and other interested parties. These events range in topic from air and water quality concerns to climate change, new environmental studies, and proposed projects in the community. Public participation meetings and hearings are held on an as necessary basis throughout the year depending on major projects.
Other methods of updating the Tribal community on environmental projects, health & safety tips, where their help is needed and additional environmental based information are: CEPA's quarterly newsletters, featured outreach videos, our facebook page, and participation at other events such as Campo's annual Star Gathering.

The Campo Environmental Department has an annual Environmental Fair during the spring, which consists of Tribal and non-Tribal Environmental Departments and outside organizations that provide information for the community about new practices in the environmental field and ways they can help protect the environment. In addition to presentations and handouts during the Environmental Fair, CEPA also does various outreach projects with students of all ages. These entertaining and educational science-based projects vary throughout the year but each activity has an environmental theme to teach the kids about ways to recycle, how different systems (water cycle, air quality, aquifers, plant life, etc.) work, how to protect the environment, and a little bit about what things CEPA does.
